chemistry [of the organic variety] is an amazing class. although, it does depend on the teacher you have. my prof this semester thinks it's only necessary to teach us practical chemistry - so as we can make lava lamps if we want to, and know how to save our friends if they are suffering from aspirin toxicity... later on, he taught us how to make crack cocaine.
